정말 비굴해 보이기 짝이 없습니다.
미국인들은 이런 노골적인 사과에 익숙하지 않습니다 (대체 "sorry"가 몇 번 나왔는지..).
거기다 '세계의 모든 미국인들에게 사과'라니... 뭘 그렇게 두??하십니까?

i don't understand! is it a korean cultural thing to apologize for whenever anyone of your race does bad things. i question this because i wonder if you blame whatever race, gender, or sexual orientated person in this country you read about that does bad things. i hope you don't. get over it. a human being did a horrible thing. i would no more expect you to take responsibilty for hines ward ( korean) getting the mvp of the super bowl than taking reeponsibility of this killer.

미국인들 조차 한국인들의 과민한 행동을 이해 못하고 있습니다.
미국인들은 전세계의 그 누구보다 인종차별에 민감한 사람들입니다.
이 답글 올린 미국인이 말하듯이, 교육 잘 받고 정신이 제대로 박힌 미국인이라면 범인이
한국인이였다는 이유만으로 주위에 있는 한국인들에게 괜히 화풀이하지 않습니다.
물론 시골에 살거나 정신이 제대로 박히지 않은 미국인들은 주위의 한국인들에게 뭔가 해를
가할 가능성도 없지 않아 있습니다. 하지만 이런 사람들은 뉴스 웹사이트 토론방에 와서
글을 읽거나 하지도 않습니다.
이번 사건에 혼자 죄의식에 사로잡혀 과민반응 하신 몇몇 분들이 또 이런 글을 미국 웹사이트에 올려서 괜히
불씨를 쑤셔서 큰 불을 만드는 일이 없기를 바라며 글을 올려봅니다.
애도와 슬픔을 표하는건 당연합니다.
하지만 괜히 과민반응으로 고개숙이고 사죄할 필요는 없는겁니다.
미국은 워낙 다양한 인종이 모여살고, 총기사고가 빈번합니다.
미국은 nra에 대해서, 사고원인에 대해서, 사고 대처에 대해 논쟁하고 있습니다.
생각없는 무분별한 행동이 오히려 상대방에 피해가 되는겁니다.
