K-pop group Girls' Generation has been chosen as the year's girl group.

A survey of 110,000 members conducted by Bugs, the local online music site, in November and December showed that the nine-member Girls' Generation beat KARA, f(x) and other girl groups to rank first in the segment of girl groups.

Girls' Generation has been shining in the local music market since its debut in 2007 with a string of hits including ``Into the World,'' ``Girls' Generation,'' ``Kissing You,'' ``Baby Baby,'' ``Gee'' and ``Genie.''

Its members are Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon, Jessica and Sunny.

Bugs conducted the survey in eight categories including ballad, pop song, hip-hop and indie music to present its music awards of the year.

``Sorry Sorry'' by Super Junior was selected as the year's best song and this year's hip-hop award went to ``The Girl Who Can't Break Up, the Boy Who Can't Leave.''

소녀시대 `올해의 걸그룹'

걸그룹 소녀시대가 '올해의 걸그룹'으로 선정됐다.

온라인 음악사이트 벅스는 11만여 명의 회원을 상대로 진행한 벅스뮤직어워드 결과 발표에서 소녀시대가 카라, f(x) 등을 물리치고 올해의 걸그룹에 뽑혔다고 발표했다.

소녀시대는 지난 2007년 데뷔 이후 `다시 만난 세계' `소녀시대' `키싱 유' `베이비 베이비' `지' `소원을 말해봐' 등 다수의 히트곡을 냈다.

소녀시대 멤버는 윤아, 티파니, 유리, 효연, 수영, 서현, 태연, 제시카, 써니이다.

벅스는 가요, 팝송, TV드라마, 힙합, 트로트, 인디음악 등 6개의 장르와 올해의 신인가수, 올해의 걸그룹 등 2개 특별부문을 시상하고 있다.

올해의 가요는 슈퍼주니어의 '쏘리 쏘리' 그리고 올해의 힙합은 리쌍의 `헤어지지 못하는 여자, 떠나가지 못하는 남자''가 선정됐다.
