매춘으로만 54억 원 번 여자

한 폴란드 무직 여성이 매춘행위로 최소 1370 즈위티(약 54억8671만원)에 달하는 고소득을 올렸음에도 수입에 따른 세금을 내지 않아 230만 즈위티(약 9억 원)에 달하는 벌금이 부과되었다고 영국의 로이터통신이 보도했다. 보도에 따르면 이 여성은 또한 자신의 ‘후한’ 고객 중 한 명으로부터 지난 1997년부터 2002년에 이르기까지 500만 즈워티(약 20억 245만원)을 받아온 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Poland's tax office has levied a fine of 2.3 million zlotys (507,000 pounds) on an unemployed woman for failing to pay tax on income worth at least 13.7 million zlotys she said she had earned as a prostitute, according to Reuters.

The woman told the tax office in the southern city of Katowice that she had very "generous" customers, the website gazeta.pl, which is linked to leading Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza, reported on Jan. 12.

One of her clients paid the woman 5 million zlotys during the 1997-2002 period, she was quoted as saying.
