러브액츄얼리 브리짓존스의 일기 네번의 결혼식과 한번의 장례식등의
각본을 쓴 리차드커티스의 영화이다.
이영화역시 위의 영화들과 영화의 유머코드나 분위기들은 비슷하다.

1960년대 영국에서 번지기 시작한 rock'n roll이 당시 정부에서는 하나의
커다란 골치덩어리로 여겨졌고 너무 적은 방송시간탓에 이에 대한 욕구와 갈망에
부응코자 24시간 해적방송을 바다에서 하게되는 방송이 탄생하게 된다.
이를 막으려는 정부와의 갈등 그리고 이런 해적방송을 하는 DJ들의 7~8개의
커다란 이야기와 그사이사이에 작은 이야기들까지 합치면 대략 20개정도의
이야기들의 이어짐으로 구성되어있다.

그시대를 재현함과 동시에 당시의 명곡(그시대의 곡들이 아닌곡들도 몇곡 있음)들이
흘러나오고 코믹한 요소와 스토리의 연이은 전개 그리고 바다와 선박의 생활들이 펼쳐
지므로 러브액츄얼리, 브리짓존스의 일기 못지 않다고 말할수 있다.
노래를 몰라도 그냥 스토리만 들어도 웃기고 재미난다......

단점은...당시 영국의 그시대를 경험하지 않은세대 그것도 한국인이 영국인의 정서를
얼마나 공감할 수 있을까? 하는 문제가 남고 확실이 이것은 우리나라의 과거의
추억이나 이야기는 아니기에 저때는 저랬겠구나 하는 막연한 추측정도 밖에
할수가 없다는 것이다.(친절하게도 영화도입부에 이에 대한 간단한 설명이 나오긴 한다.)

1960년대의 영국은 기성세대들은 꽤나 보수적이였으며 반대로 산업발전이 가장발달한
선진국 영국의 젊은이들은 무언가 새로운것과 쾌락을 추구하였는데 그중심에는 ROCK과
S E X였다 특히 ROCK스타라면 ROCK스타와 잠자리를 같이 하는것이 유행처럼 번저 이들을
가리키는 그루피라는 용어마저 생겨났다.

정보를 얻기위하여 인터넷을 검색하니 영화에 삽입되었던 노래가 어느장면에 삽입되었는지
